Transhumanists are those of us preparing for the next evolutionary leap to posthuman. Technology is quickly being developed to make us stronger, faster, smarter, healthier.

We will replace our fragile bodies with synthetics. We will have eyes with telephoto zooming that can see into the ultraviolet and infrared ranges, ears that can hear a whisper miles away. We will be unharmed by radiation, perhaps even nourished by that part of the energy spectrum that is now dangerous. We will be able to withstand much wider ranges of temperature and pressure. We will be free of disease, infirmity and aging.
